PIRFESCA Gel - Scar Care Solution

PIRFESCA is a novel cosmetic product containing pirfenidone (8%), a molecule with clinically supported anti-fibrotic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Active Ingredient: Pirfenidone 8% w/w

Dosage Form: Topical gel

• Helps improve the appearance of scars
• Helps prevent the formation of scars

• Clean the affected area and apply a thin layer of PIRFESCA Gel three times a day.
• In sun-exposed areas, apply sunscreen after PIRFESCA Gel gets absorbed.
• To prevent formation of any scar, apply PIRFESCA Gel only after the wound is closed and/or any stitches have been removed.

• It is recommended not to be exposed directly to the sun immediately after application.
• Avoid contact with eyes; In case of accidental contact, wash with plenty of water.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Pirfenidone Gel is well tolerated and has minimal side effects. As in any other topical product, itching, light burning, redness or increased sensitivity to sun may occur. These usually disappear when the number of applications is reduced for a few days.

Studies evaluating the risk of PIRFESCA Gel to cause irritation, allergy, acne and sensitivity to sun proved that it is non-irritant, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and non-photo irritant.

PIRFESCA Gel must be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry place.
